WINKEL PRO 5W72 is a low strength, thixotropic thread sealant developed for parallel and bevel gears and their combinations. It has moderate mechanical resistance. When the product is applied between metal gears and in the absence of air, it cures by reacting. It provides impermeability against water, compressed air, gas, gasoline, LPG as well as chemical products obtained from private and industrial plants. Usage: The parts to be applied should be dry, clean and free of oil. Surface cleaning with WINKEL PRO Fast Cleaner is recommended. Apply the product on the tooth with a full turn (male and female parts) and combine the parts. After tightening the gears, do not move them during the drying period. Threaded connections belong to the system max. Wait for the complete drying time (24 hours) before operating in conditions. Complete drying takes maximum 24 hours depending on the type of metal. If the application temperature is below + 5 ° C, the drying time can be accelerated by using WINKEL PRO Anaerobic Activator.
